Last summer, Azara ran the UK's first ever month-long coed yeshiva programme. For one month, participants of all backgrounds came together to immerse in Jewish texts and form a community of learners. I badly want to see that community go from strength to strength, and it needs our support to do that! I want the chance, for myself and for all of us, to get to keep doing these things, to get to do this next summer, and the summer after, and for years and years to come.

Talking to friends who had the chance to participate in Azara last year, I know how much of a difference it made, to them, and how much of a difference it will make to the future of the Jewish community, in the UK and worldwide. Azara is a space to engage with deep, nuanced Jewish texts and each other gives us the skills to think deeply about moral and logistical problems. Azara summer participants have already gone on to full-time Jewish learning, to start an initiative on disability access in UK synagogues, and to teach others, and we're just getting started! Our donations will help us create a stronger, thoughtful, and caring community.

Chanukah is a time to rededicate things, so, please, let's rededicate ourselves to sustaining this community, and sustaining the possibility of growth and learning and change!
