Crudwell 'Le Mans' 24 Hour bike ride is a community fundraising event where teams of all ages and ability compete to raise the most sponsorship. It is also fun to see which team can complete the most laps in 24hrs.

As well as raising funds for improvements to Crudwell village hall and its surrounds, this year 80% of funds raised by each team go to the charity of their choice, in our case Head For Change.

Head for Change is a charity pioneering positive change to prioritise brain health in sport. Its' aim is to create a world where sport is as good for your brain as it is for your body. The charity provides care and support to those living with neurodegenerative diseases caused by their sporting careers, raise public awareness about the risks of head injuries in sport, and support independent research to make sport safer.

Their particular focus is on football and rugby, and their aim is to protect the players and protect the games.

About us:

We are a team of five lads aged 15 and 16 who all play rugby for the Minety Cricklade Quins: Noah "Legs" Mcderment, Troy "T Dog" Martin, Fred "old bikes rule" Greenhill, Sam "Clarkie" Clarke, and Will "Ginge" Donachie.

This is our fourth year of cycling our socks off for charity and we get more competitive each time! Over the last three years we have consistently raised the most sponsorship money, so please help us to maintain that record and to give to a charity that resonates within our sporting world.

We aim to cycle more laps than last year - we achieved 55 in 2024 and, each lap being 7 miles long, that equates to 385 miles in 24 hours.

Fuelled by bacon butties, cheesy wotsits and very little sleep we will ride like the fast and the furious!! Your sponsorship is a massive motivator so please spur us on!!
