Story
Mental health challenges affect 1 in 4 people. Even if you haven’t experienced a mental health crisis yourself, someone you care about has, whether you know it or not. Access to support when it’s needed most is critical, especially for those who are least likely to seek help.
In 2026, I’ll once again be raising awareness and funds for mental health. As part of this, I’ll be taking on a charity trek this September through the Accursed Mountains in the Balkans, alongside 100 colleagues.

I’ve chosen to continue supporting Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), a UK-based suicide prevention charity working to challenge stigma and open up conversations around suicide. CALM uses everything from music and sport to art and culture to reach those who might otherwise stay silent. Just £12.20 / $16 can fund one potentially life-saving call.
If you work at McKinsey I can share an internal link so your donation can be matched by the firm. (Benevity doesn’t notify me, so please do message me so I can thank you properly!)
If there’s another mental health charity close to your heart, feel free to donate there instead and let me know which one you’ve chosen.
