This year I am taking part in three races in Chester to raise money for the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopedic Hospital. I have already completed the 10k run on 8 March 2026 and will also be running Chester Half Marathon on 17 May 2026 and the Marathon on 11 October 2026.

The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopedic Hospital is one of the leading Specialist Orthopedic Hospitals, based in Gobowen, with an outstanding reputation for high quality patient care. It also has a Veterans Orthopedic Service for veterans who require treatment.

I have visited the hospital on a number of occasions and have had the privilege of volunteering with one of the hospital's charities, League of Friends, for the last few years. I have seen some of the exceptional new facilities at the hospital, including a new garden in the Spinal Injuries Ward. The hospital and its various charities have a hugely positive impact for patients and the local community.
