Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page for Bamboozle Theatre Company's 30th Year Pledge.

Before the Summer I asked this question on social media:-

"What activity would you most like to see me do for a fundraiser?"

There were some brilliant responses- including bathing in baked beans! And the one that resonated the most with me was a busking set. This was so exciting for me because I have been developing my voice, (and more importantly perhaps, my ears) for a number of very long years now. It's been very slow going trying to fit any practise in such a busy adult life- as I am sure you can all relate to! I am massively lucky though to be living with my partner who is a brilliant musician and very patient guide, as well as being surrounded by a host of highly skilled and generous musicians. So... poco a poco... there has been some positive change.

As I chatted to other Bamboozlers and non-Bamboozler musicians alike the busking set began to take shape and was growing into a pretty big deal... including a busking set in a bath of baked beans... ha ha ha...

The Summer came... and went! Oops!

And here we now are... in November!!! When did that happen?

So the revamped Winter version is to learn a song in 30 days (there are songs I have been practicing for years that I still would not want to sing in public) and, yep, you've guessed it... sing it somewhere public and share the video.

I won't be alone, I have my partner David Blazye with me, so I feel confident that some aspect of this will be of quality at least... if we raise money for Bamboozle along the way it is all to the good!!

Again I turned to social media to vote for the song and the winner is: -

"If I Can Dream" by Elvis Presley.

Talk about challenging! LOL

I have been an artist with Bamboozle for over 20 years now and have literally grown up with the artists and the families. I have so many beautiful memories and I feel so honoured to have been able to witness our young people grow. It is with great sadness to honour that some of our young people have passed on, and I am doing this in their memory just as much as for those still with us. With the greatest of love.

So get ready for an influx of irritating videos and nasty sounds... they will improve by the end of these 30 days I am sure!!! Support in any way that feels ok to you- through spirit, through being on the planet together, through attention, comments, sharing, constructive crtiticism, or of course hard cash. All very much appreciated!
