On Saturday the 21st June I shall be walking 50km in the Race to the King! I’ve been training for this since January, getting up early to squeeze in training walks before busy family days and I am almost there!

With tightening school budgets, there is a dwindling pot of money for schools to purchase much needed learning resources for the classroom. As a teacher at St James, I know just how important quality learning resources are to support pupils’ learning and understanding. I am doing this challenge in hope of raising some money for our school SJA so more resources can be bought to support learning across the school, in particular science and outdoor learning.
