Our charity.................

Burnley FC in the Community is charity delivers over 50 community projects across the communities of Burnley, Pendle, Rossendale, the Ribble Valley and West Yorkshire, supporting those who need it most, all age groups, ranging from pre-schoolers through to senior citizens.

This year, BFC in the Community is challenging businesses to raise much-needed funds, with the aim of raising £1000 over 12 months. In our joint effort both Ness (The Pendle Grill)and myself (Speakman Contractors) will be pushing our boundaries and step outside our comfort zone to help our local charity. Our trip is 100% self funded.

All funds/donations raised will go towards providing essential services and support, in all corners of the community, including:

- Education

- Mental health and wellbeing services

- Disability sport

- Dementia cafes

- Cancer rehabilitation

- Employability

- Youth development

- Veteran support

....and much more!

Our Mission - The Arctic Circle Adventure

The arctic adventure unfolds in the Scandinavian north, above the Arctic Circle, with a focus on the point where Norway, Sweden, and Finland converge. The trip involves three stages and three different winter sport disciplines: fat biking for approximately 30km on day two, back-country skiing for 21km on day three to an overnight wilderness camp, and snowshoeing for 21km on day four to the three nations cairn before a snowmobile transfer back. The trip begins and ends in Tromsø, Norway, with the main base in Kilpisjärvi, Finland
