On Saturday the 11th of July, we are celebrating six months since we adopted Stormzy. We know his online family would love to celebrate with us, so instead of buying him a gift, he has asked that you consider donating that money to the angels that saved him, we’d love to celebrate the people who gave him, the greatest gift of all: a second chance, and us, the greatest gift of all: him.

Before Stormzy came to us, he was hit by a car and suffered devastating injuries. He was left unable to walk, and his prognosis was so poor that euthanasia was recommended. Most people would have believed there was no hope. But the incredible team at Happy Doggo refused to give up on him.

They saw something worth fighting for. They gave him expert medical care, endless patience, rehabilitation, and love. Day by day, they helped him do the impossible. Stormzy learned to stand, then to walk, and eventually to run. Today, he’s living the happy, mischievous, deeply loved life that every dog deserves because someone believed he was worth saving.

Happy Doggo began with one person feeding hungry street dogs in Thailand and has grown into an extraordinary charity dedicated to reducing the suffering of stray dogs through rescue, emergency veterinary care, sterilisation, feeding programmes, and finding loving homes for dogs who have nowhere else to go. Every single day, they feed over 1,200 street dogs, have funded more than 156,000 sterilisations, and have helped countless dogs like Stormzy find families of their own.

Without them, we would never have met our best friend.

Every cuddle, every wagging tail, every silly zoomie, every adventure we’ve shared with Stormzy exists because Happy Doggo chose compassion over giving up.

So, for Stormzy’s six-month “Gotcha Day”, we want to give back to them, every pound will help Happy Doggo rescue, treat, feed, rehabilitate, and rehome more dogs who, just like Stormzy, deserve someone to believe in them.
