Story
The Mistry/Bailey clan are walking 5km this September to raise money for Willow Wood Hospice. This hospice is very close to our hearts, not only have they looked after our loved ones during the final moments of their lives, they are now supporting the head of the Mistry clan living with Parkinson’s disease. Whether it’s a reiki session or a therapy session, these have proven invaluable in helping Harshad live with his condition and support his family.
Harshad struggles to walk on a daily basis but he will be pushing himself (and most likely his grandson) to walk the 5km. He will be joined by his two daughters, son-in-law and grandson, and with his wife standing at the finish line to catch him!
Willow Wood Hospice provide high-quality specialist palliative and end-of-life care, support and education across Tameside and Glossop.
We hope you will support us to raise as much money as possible in support of a very worthy cause.
