Story
Hello my family and friends,
I am super excited to tell you all that I just spent the weekend (9th - 10th Sept 2023) climbing the three UK National peaks and have survived to tell the tale! 🏔🐏🗻🧗♀️
Words cannot describe how tough this challenge really was.. no amount of training, planning and expectation of how the routine would go could have prepared me for what actually just happened from Saturday morning right the way through to Sunday afternoon. It was physically and mentally exhausting, exhilarating and beyond anything I could have imagined. I completed two of three summits and the third one I got as far as two thirds the way up Snowdon (after 2 hours of rocky sleep on the coach and a dodgy stomach up the third one!) before it was time to prepare for the come down - I am so so happy and proud of this achievement that I cannot believe it myself I got as far as I did. My body is super achy, sore, bruised, grazed.. but my mind is buzzing!!
A huge thank you to everyone for your tremendous support, encouragement, words of motivation and cheering me on 😍
For an experience that lasted 24 hours.. the memories are going to remain for lifetime (hopefully not the sore muscles and!) and for sure there are so many moments captured that today bring me joy but at the time was another story 🤭
Final words.. I don't want to eat a protein bar for at least another 6 months!!

Thank you for joining me on this exciting and scary challenge of completing the Three Peaks in 24 hours eeek!
The Three Peaks Challenge is an attempt to climb the highest peaks in Scotland (Ben Nevis), England (Scafell Pike) and Wales (Snowdon) in one go. I will be travelling to Fort William on the Friday, starting with Ben Nevis on the Saturday morning, climb Scafell Pike that night and finish Snowdon on Sunday in Wales. In order to complete the challenge in 24 hours, I'll need to complete Ben Nevis in 6 hours, Scafell Pike in 4½ hours and Snowdon in 4½ hours - all with minimal sleep!
Training is in process for a great cause.. Bromley & Croydon Women's Aid (BCWA).
Domestic abuse will affect 1 in 4 women in their lifetime, with young people aged 16 to 25 most at risk.
For over 40 years, BCWA has provided safe, secure, high quality temporary accommodation and specialist support services to women escaping domestic abuse, along with early intervention, prevention and awareness campaigns.
Without the support of incredible people like you, BCWA wouldn't be able to change the lives of thousands of women and their children suffering from domestic abuse.
Thank you for your support and encouragement to help me succeed on this challenge!
Mital xx
