Laiba Khan is raising money for King George & Queen's Hospitals Charity

The Mitie team will take on a sponsored cycle challenge, working together to complete 78 miles on exercise bikes and raise funds for charity. Thank you for your support. · 3 July 2026

Our hospitals serve 900,000 local people. Whilst the NHS provides funding for the necessities, King George & Queen’s Hospitals Charity funds projects which enhance the hospital experience for patients, visitors and staff at both Queen’s Hospital, Romford and King George Hospital, Ilford.

Story

On Friday 3 July, the Mitie at King George Hospital, will be taking part in a sponsored cycle challenge to raise money for charity. Three exercise bikes will be set up in the atrium, and team members will work together throughout the day to collectively cycle 78 miles, to celebrate NHS 78th birthday.

We are inviting colleagues, friends, and family to support the cause by making a donation. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help us reach our fundraising goal and support a great cause.

Thank you for your support and encouragement. We look forward to completing the challenge and making a positive difference together.
