Story
This August, I’m taking on a personal challenge to move 100km — walking, running, dancing, anything — to raise money for Unseen UK, a charity working to end modern slavery and human trafficking.
I’m calling it Movement for the Missing, because every step I take is for someone who can’t move freely. For someone trapped, hidden, or silenced.
More than 100,000 people in the UK are estimated to be victims of modern slavery — and yes, that includes the Isle of Man.
The Isle of Man Constabulary has dealt with confirmed cases of trafficking and exploitation — including forced labour and domestic servitude. The government has even developed a Modern Slavery Strategy in partnership with charities and police.

Unseen UK provides safehouses, outreach support, and runs the UK’s 24/7 Modern Slavery & Exploitation Helpline — a lifeline for victims and professionals.

I wanted to do something active and meaningful to raise awareness and funds for this cause. So this August, I’ll be clocking up 100km for the people we don’t see — here, and across the UK.
Please consider sponsoring me. Even a few pounds helps Unseen UK continue their life-saving work.
Every step counts — especially when it’s for someone who can’t take one.
Thank you.
