Story
إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون
On 17th February, surrounded by family and loved ones, Mohammed Jameel Khan Sherwani returned to his Lord at the age of 84 years.
We are witness that he was a man of the Quran, with love for our Prophets, and a heart that turned to Allah in repentance. He was praying, making dua, and reciting the shahadah until he no longer could.
His life ended whilst the bombing of Palestine continued and thousands of children are orphaned. He was a man who loved to care for orphans and those without parents.
This Ramadan, help us remember his legacy through a sadaqah jaariyah campaign to sponsor 5 Palestinian Orphans for an ENTIRE year, providing them with food, water, shelter, medicine and an education.
The Prophet Muhammed (ﷺ) said: “The one who cares for an orphan and myself will be together in Paradise like this,” and he held his two fingers together to illustrate. [Bukhari]

May Allah forgive Mohammed Jameel Khan Sherwani for his sins as well as us, and accept it from him and us! Ameen
