Story
I Love Catering are supporting Milton Keynes Hospital Charity as part of the Franklin's £50 Challenge.
James is participating in a personal challenge on 23rd April, spending the day walking laps of the hospital, to raise money for the charity.
Everyone who knows James, he is a fitness fanatic (NOT). The only sport that James undertakes is Darts which is not the most active of sports. He is a previous participant in the "Wymbush Milton Keynes Olympics" where he finished 2nd overall (Out of 2).
Onto the serious bit, why am I doing this for MK Hospital Charities. Everyone has or knows someone who has been admitted to MK University Hospital, but when it is your child, it hits home a lot more. When my daughter has been in the children's Ward's it has been the little touches that made her stay better. From toys, to arts and crafts plus the outdoor spaces for me to go to just to get a break. This is all funded, plus so much more by the great work done by Vanessa and the Team at MK Hospital Charities. Without continuous support from locals and businesses this wouldn't be possible.
We would appreciate as much support as possible, in donations and visits for support on the day! We look forward to seeing you there!
A message from Milton Keynes Hospital Charity...
"We want every patient, visitor, and staff member at Milton Keynes University Hospital to have the best experience possible.
As the hospital’s official registered charity, we’re proud to invest in projects and tangible items that are over and above the responsibility of the NHS.
But none of what we do would be possible without the support of our wonderful community in and around Milton Keynes."
