The Film-Maker's Cooperative/New American Cinema Group is the world's largest archive and distributor of avant-garde films. Its collection comprises over 5,000 films made by more than 1,000 filmmaker members.

THANK YOU to everyone for so generously donating! Your contributions have made it possible for us to purchase MM Serra a new MacBook Pro as a token of appreciation for all her years at the Coop. Since we’ve exceeded our original donation request amount, every additional dollar that we raise will go towards expanding her FMC severance package to support her work as an artist. To that end, we've increased the limit to $5000, so please help the FMC Board of Directors continue to honor her work and legacy by donating here.

Please help us raise funds to purchase MM Serra a new MacBook Pro so that she can edit films remotely. Your donation to the FMC will be tax-deductible and all proceeds will go towards this purchase.

The AV specialist noted that "The M2 chip is remarkable and will ensure usability for years, and for her needs 16GB of unified memory and 512GB of storage will be sufficient."
