We are 2 mums Caz and Elisha, who are going to run the Manchester Marathon in April 26 together to raise money for our daughters Minnie and Mollie 🩷🩷

Our daughters are both registered blind - cane users and learning braille. They have the same rare genetic condition caused by the CRB1 gene.

Working as part of Team CRB1 we raise money to fund research into why the gene affects their vision and possible treatments which could help them see or to keep the little bit of vision they currently have which is likely to deteriorate.

We signed up to run our local Marathon - Manchester in April 2026. We are super nervous as training has been hard and limited while juggling full time jobs and family life and commitments!

We need to raise as much money as possible as we have an amazing team of scientists working on the research now and have an amazing Professor who has put together a project that will see the team work to develop a treatment which will hopefully save the little bit of vision the girls have and hopefully give them a bit more too!
