Story

As a massive fan of immersive horror, Walsall Scare Mazes's Christmasacre event helps me feel a bit of Halloween magic even at Christmas, and facing ENOLA - Santa's Grotto, is a personal challenge in itself, as it's the only 'extreme' scare experience I have ever previously used a safe word in.
There are aspects of ENOLA that genuinely scare me, but at the end of the day, while some of it may be uncomfortable to face, it all pales in comparison to the very real horror of being homeless, especially at Christmas!
For me, Christmas is all about spending time with loved ones + having a safe place to relax and feel, even if just for a little while, that things are okay. It hurts a lot to think that there are people out there who don't have that.
And homelessness, in general, breaks my heart. It seems insane to me that we haven't already ended homelessness in the UK when we're in 2025!
If I can help somehow, I'm more than happy to throw myself headfirst into the challenge and face all my fears :D And so I'm doing just that and fundraising for Crisis :3
[The Challenge]
If you're not familiar with Walsall Scare Maze or their ENOLA experience, you can read more about it all here on their website:
https://www.walsallscaremaze.co.uk/attractions
https://www.walsallscaremaze.co.uk/enola
ENOLA is difficult to describe without giving away spoilers, but imagine being dropped into an adult panto where all the characters are there to bully you!
The actors inside give you various challenges to complete, and you can pass on those challenges if you feel the need to, by using a safe word.
You must be 18+ and sign a waiver to enter, but it's all done very safely and professionally.
Some of the challenges I faced in there previously were personal phobias of mine, and so, naturally, I ended up using the safe word to skip certain parts.
So the challenge I'm setting here is to go through ENOLA this December without saying the safe word once, hence, 'No Mercy' :D
Now, there's a very real possibility of me coming out of there missing hair or eyebrows, or some other sort of humiliation, so I'd really appreciate it if you could help me hit the target xD
Heck, let's absolutely smash it and reach well over the £300 goal if we can!! Otherwise, I'll be tormenting myself just for the hell of it, haha.
There will be before and after photos as evidence, and I will also be taking on some additional mini-challenges whilst there, such as surviving the Shock Chairs!
[Bonus Music Track 4 Supporters]
And for anyone who happens to follow me for my game dev and soundtrack stuff, I will also be producing 1 exclusive horror-themed BGM in December that I will give away for free use as an asset in your projects (commercial use included), to anyone who supports me with this fundraiser and would like to claim the track :3
The only requirement of use in a project will be to credit me somewhere for it.
(Details on how to claim the track will be posted once the fundraiser has finished.)
[Signing Off]
So yeah, it would mean the world if you could help me turn my love of immersive horror into helping combat a very real horror :3
