Motor Neurone disease's fundraiser for Motor Neurone Disease Association

Motor Neurone disease Merseyside branch is raising money for Motor Neurone Disease Association

Abseiling down Anfield football stadium · 11 July 2026

Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

Abseil at Anfield for MND - Support Our Brave Team!

On Saturday 11th July at 11am, a team of brave supporters will be taking on an incredible challenge - abseiling down the iconic Anfield Stadium to raise vital funds for the Motor Neurone Disease Association Merseyside Branch.

Taking the leap are: Jayne Molyneux, Cassidy Jones, Louise Hobson, Janet Devereux, Nikki McKevitt, Liz Danson, Ste Campbell, Peter Grand, Norman Bolton, Colin Capper, Vicky Lundon and Paul Ennis. Together they will be stepping over the edge of one of football’s most famous stadiums to help make a difference for people living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND).

Every donation will go directly to the MND Association’s Merseyside Branch, helping provide essential support to people living with MND across Merseyside, as well as their families and carers. The branch works tirelessly to offer practical help, guidance and support to those affected by this devastating disease.

Your support big or small will help ensure that local people living with MND get the care and assistance they need.

Please donate if you can and help cheer on our amazing abseilers as they take on this unforgettable challenge at Anfield!

Thank you for your generosity and support
