Kevin’s story….

On the May 30th I will be making the epic adventure walking from Aberystwyth to St David’s.

I will be raising money for the MNDEFIANCE Trust - a charity that means a lot to our community and his headed by our MND warrior Mark Will. Mark was diagnosed with MND in July 2022. Since then he has made it his mission to defy the odds and help people along the way. He set up the charity in September 2024 and issues grants to people and their families who are affected by MND.

I want to help that cause so I’m making my own personal journey to help those in need.

So on May 31st- day 1 - 7am I set off , sea front promenade Aberyswth- south beach Aber - pen Dinas hill fort - blaenplyf - follow a487 to llanrhystud- the black lion for food - head to llanrhystud beach - aberaeron- Newquay ( sleep here fo the night ) Approx 8 hours walking.

June 1st - day 2 - 7am set off from Newquay- cwmtydu- llangranog- aberporth ( hopefully see the 🐬) - mwnt - cardigan island - poppit sands beach - ceibur beach - Newport parrog - Aber forest beach - the hide Pembroke camping glamping ( sleep here arrive around 6pm ) 12 hours walking.

June 2nd - day 3 - leave ‘ the hide “ - lower town - Fishguard - mathry- abermawr- Aber castle - porthgain- aberreiddy BLUE LAGOON COLD WATER DIP - llech ganol- ST DAVIDS TOWN CENTRE FINISH LINE , 8 hours walking!
