Northwich 10k for The Joshua Tree · 29 June 2025 ·

Our charity was founded in 2007 by a group of parents, who realised how important it is to connect with other people in order to share experiences. Our aim is to provide opportunities for parents, carers, siblings and extended family networks to have fun in a fully inclusive environment, where a child with Down’s syndrome is one of many, rather than one of a few.

Story

We are group of friends who regularly meet for runs, and take part in running events. We are taking part in this years Northwich 10K, but rather than run as individuals we've made the brave decision to run as a caterpillar where we are all linked together. The aim is to complete the 10k without injury and any moaning (which is near impossible) and raise money for a good cause, notably Down Syndrome Cheshire.

The Caterpillar will comprise of Abby Mcintyre (Chief Moaner), Lee McIntyre, Andy Duff, Liz Hamer, Chris Baugh and Neil Pagnam
