Thank you so much for taking the time to visit this JustGiving page. I am excited to share that I will be participating in the EDP Lisbon Half Marathon on 9th March 2025, with the goal of raising funds for The Jansen Foundation.

The Jansen Foundation is dedicated to making a significant impact both in the UK and India. In the UK, they focus on alleviating food poverty and insecurity through helping support school feeding programmes, pantries, food banks, community shops, cooking classes and gleaning projects, while in India, they are transforming the lives of school children through their School Improvement Program. This initiative includes installing essential toilets and washing facilities where they are often lacking, as well as running a menstruation education program to empower girls with knowledge about this important yet often taboo subject.

I am also thrilled to announce that every donation made will be DOUBLED by the foundation! This means that through your generous contributions and my determination to run, we can raise a substantial amount that will truly make a difference in these communities.
