The Humane Society International (HSI) is one of the few international animal protection organisations working to protect all animals—including animals in laboratories, farm animals, companion animals and wildlife.

The MOD Vegan and Vegetarian Network is a Staff Network of Ministry of Defence personnel who are interested in protecting animals for ethical and environmental reasons.

We will move one centimetre for each of the 3.3 million land animals slaughtered every day in the UK. Whether it is a walk, run, cycle, ski erg or row; whether together or alone; this distance symbolises the scale of animal suffering and death. The number of animal deaths could be cut by choosing some or all meals to be vegetarian or vegan. This could also have climate and health benefits. The Network can help anyone interested with recipe ideas, restaurant suggestions and guidance.
