Ciao a tutti,

Nicky Pacitti sadly passed away on the 1st of November, 2024.

Nicky was incredibly funny, always ready with a quick joke to make anyone laugh, and his kindness knew no bounds. He would do anything for anyone—whether it was lending a hand to a friend in need or offering support when someone was struggling. He was the kind of person who always put others first and made everyone feel welcome. His generosity, his laughter, and his love for those around him will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Nicky was cared for by the wonderful team at the Accord Hospice in Paisley during his final days and we are incredibly grateful for the exceptional care and support he received. Their kindness and compassion made a difficult time just a little bit easier, and we want to give back in a meaningful way.

On the 2nd of February, 2025, a group of Nicky's family and friends aka ‘Pacitti’s Plodders’ will be taking part in the Glasgow Winter Warmer race, (5k, 10k, or half marathon), to honour Nicky’s memory and to raise funds for the ACCORD Hospice. Funds raised will go directly to the ACCORD Hospice, helping them continue to provide vital care for people living with life-limiting or terminal illnesses across Renfrewshire.
