Story
Off the back of their Grand Slam Tour which helped raise over £1 million for MND research — the Moffat Rams are gearing up once again to hit the road for the incredible cause. This time, they’ll be part of Doddie’s Triple Crown, the 2026 edition of Rob Wainwright’s epic annual cycling challenge in aid of the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation.
The challenge will take place from Tuesday 10th to Friday 13th March 2026, with over 40 teams covering 800 miles over four days, culminating in their arrival in Dublin on the eve of Scotland’s clash with Ireland at the Aviva Stadium.
The route for this year’s challenge is as follows:
* **Day 1:** Melrose to Leeds
* **Day 2:** Leeds to Gloucester
* **Day 3:** Gloucester to Pembroke
* **Day 4:** Rosslare to Dublin
The Moffat Rams are once again great full on the generous support of local businesses, sponsors, and the wider community to help make this effort a success. Every donation and show of

support brings them one step closer to making a difference in the fight against MND.
