Story

Dear Brothers and Sisters

Help me to raise money for this amazing project to rebuild and refurbish Byron Street Masjid. Your participation guarantees success to you in this world the and the next.

Byron Street Masjid in Bradford is a mosque with a proud legacy. established in the late 1970’2 it has been a pioneering institution. In Bradford it was one of the first masjids to deliver khutbahs and lectures in English, serving men, women, and young people, and nurturing generations of Muslims.

Through this appeal we are aiming to revive and rebuild this historic masjid for the future.

Our vision is not just a mosque, but also to build a thriving community hub serving the religious, social, educational and communal needs of the communities of Bradford. This masjid will be open, accessible, and inclusive — serving the needs of the whole community.

But we need your support to help this legacy reach our next generations so that they can also prayer, learn and share the religion of Islam.

We are calling on all our Muslim brothers and sisters in Bradford and across the UK to contribute to the costs of rebuild. We especially appeal to those connected to Young Muslims, ISB, UKIM, and beyond — to come together and be part of this legacy.

This is your chance for Sadaqah Jariyah — a reward that continues long after we are gone.

Every prayer, every lesson, every life changed — you will share in that reward.
