Our volunteer group, VLM Moidart, was formed in the Western Highlands of Scotland in support of Pickups for Peace’s (P4P) mission to raise funds and deliver vehicles directly to target recipients in Ukraine.

P4P was founded as a direct response to the outbreak of the Russia-Ukraine war by a group of UK farmers with a well established farming business in Ukraine.

VLM and P4P have together completed 18 convoys packed with humanitarian, medical and mechanical supplies, donating 600 vehicles, driven by 1,000 drivers and co-drivers - an estimated total value of aid to Ukraine of around £3m. This is all down to your generosity.

The conflict continues beyond a third, brutal, winter - so must the vehicle convoys and aid. We have experienced first hand how any contribution you are able to make is immeasurably well received in Ukraine, providing vital humanitarian support directly to the humanitarian side of the war effort.

All donations go directly to funding and delivering vehicles and aid to their final recipients in Ukraine, under the P4P charity umbrella and delivered by VLM volunteers.
