Story
Both of my parents, 5 years apart spent their last few days in the great care of the team at St. Michael’s Hospice.
My family and I will be forever grateful that our parents, our children ‘s Grandparents were in such professional and caring hands.
The hospice is a very peaceful place where there are so many wonderful facilities for the patients and families alike.
My daughter and I will be taking part in this years Venus walk in Mum and Dad’s memory. Please support the fabulous work they do if you can.
For Henry (Harry) Grafen 1941-2013 and Bridget Irene Grafen 1943-2018
Thank you so much.
The Hospice multi-disciplinary team includes doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, complementary therapists, social workers, chaplains and counsellors. These specialist Hospice staff work together and often in partnership with the NHS to relieve patients’ symptoms, control their pain and help them to live well until the end of life. It is vital that everyone that needs it has the appropriate care and support they need to cope with the complex feelings and lifestyle changes caused by a terminal illness.
