I am part of a team of 6 doing the big 23mile Kiltwalk on Sunday 26th April 2026 to raise money for The Pink Ladies of Argyll!

Having been diagnosed with breast cancer in May 2024 I could only focus on getting through the gruelling treatment of chemo and radiotherapy. I was overjoyed to ring the finishing bell at the end of February 2025 but wasn’t prepared for what came next - I was overwhelmed with feelings of isolation and fear for my future.

Thankfully I was introduced to The Pink Ladies of Argyll, a community where we support each other through the emotional and physical ups and downs - getting access to post-treatment therapies, personalised gym membership, advice, support, advocacy and so much more, including a very special annual pamper day where all the local groups of Argyll come together to share love and laughter - the best medicine!

I have never walked 23 miles before so it will be a challenge but I’m doing it for the next woman facing fear and isolation post treatment.
