The Gravesend Moles are raising money for Ellenor a local hospice.

Moles 25th Anniversary · 2 December 2024
It’s the 25th anniversary of the Gravesend Moles, which has always been more than just a rugby team, and in this Moles silver jubilee season we have reached our objective of aiming to raise £25,000 for a local charity, ellenor.
Adding in donations via other channels, in addition to this page, we are now OVER £25,000, so thank you for opening your hearts and your wallets for ellenor.
They provide hospice care to those in need and have helped club members and their families with end of life care. They are also one of the few organisations which provide end of life care to children in their own homes.
Life never goes in a straight line and we all have our ups and downs to deal with but it must be desperately difficult to have to deal with the end of life/palliative care situation of a loved one, and this is where ellenor comes into its own, mostly providing this care in people's homes.
The work they do in Gravesend and surrounding areas is so very much appreciated by those in need.
This ambitious £25,000 target was a fitting donation given its the Moles 25th anniversary is very much appreciated by ellenor, which needs £7 million a year to fulfill its pledges.
This justgiving page will remain open until 1 December 2024 for any final donations.
The social rugby community at GRFC is continuing to raise funds for ellenor through a new just giving page - "Gravesend Social Rugby Supports the Ellenor Hospice" .
