During May half term Molly will be taking on the challenge of running a mile a day for 7 days, finishing with the Green Park Mini Mile on Sunday 1st June where she will be joined by her brilliant school friends, Charlie, Cody and Noah.

We experienced the work of Friends of PICU first hand last year during our stay in intensive care with our gorgeous George. In his memory, Molly and her wonderful school friends are raising money for the charity which helps to support the NHS in providing the very best of care to critically ill children and their families at the regional Intensive Care Unit at Southampton University Hospital. The unit cares for children from all across the South of England and Channel Islands.

The charity does amazing work including providing intensive care transfer ambulances that transported George, life saving equipment, emergency parent accommodation and a family liaison nurse who helped support us through the hardest day of our lives.
