On April 19th, I’ll be taking to the streets of Manchester to run my first-ever marathon.
I’ve chosen to support Mind because of the vital work they do to ensure no one has to face a mental health problem alone. Having seen how mental health struggles can affect our friends, families, and colleagues, I wanted to take on a challenge that pushes me to my absolute limit to help raise awareness and vital funds.
We all have mental health, yet so many people still struggle in silence. By running these 26.2 miles, I hope to support Mind’s mission to provide advice, support, and a literal lifeline to those who need it most.
Training through the cold, dark winter months hasn't been easy, but every mile is worth it if it helps even one person find the support they deserve. Your donations, no matter the size, will be the fuel that keeps me moving when my legs want to quit at mile 20!
