Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

PSDS stands for Providing Support for Children with Down Syndrome and their families and is a charity very close to my heart as my younger sister Emily has Down Syndrome. Over the years, both myself and my family have been supported by the charity and I have witnessed it to continue to grow and blossom over the last 17 years.

The charity was founded in 2006 when my mum met up with two other mums to babies with Down Syndrome. What started as a coffee morning has since grown into a charity sprouting from 7 families to now over 100 families. Recently, PSDS has moved into a permanent building in Reigate which is testament to the growth of the charity and means they now have a permanent base for their fantastic work.

Last year I was delighted to raise £2000 for PSDS by running the London Marathon and am beyond excited to run the Edinburgh Marathon to hopefully raise even more money for this wonderful charity that can be put towards their new building.

I am so grateful for this amazing charity and the work they do and I'm so unbelievably proud of all the work they've done. Personally, it has been an honour to watch the charity grow - so I will certainly be racing my heart out for them on the 26th of May. And after that - rest assured there will be bigger and better fundraising pursuit coming soon.
