This year we will be running for Starlight UK and charity that we work closely with!

Since starting we have received a lot of support from Starlight UK. Starlight is the UK’s leading charity for children’s play in hospitals and hospices. They work to ensure every child has the opportunity, space and time to experience play. They also undertake research and campaign to ensure children’s right to play is protected and provided for. They give out boxes to hospitals full of toys ranging from little fidget toys to gadgets like Nintendo switches. As play therapists we carry the role of providing a level of care to the children that reduces medical trauma, brings comfort and a sense of normality and alleviates anxieties and boredom when in a medical setting.

As a thank you and giveback to Starlight I will be running the Battersea Half Marathon on the 10th May 2025.
