Story
I work within the Parent Infant Mental Health Service at Pennine Care NHS, where every day we support parents and their babies during some of the most important, and sometimes most difficult, moments of early life.
The bond between a parent and their baby lays the foundation for a child’s emotional wellbeing, development, and future relationships. But for many families, challenges such as postnatal depression, anxiety, trauma, and other mental health difficulties can make this early connection harder to build.
Our service provides vital support to help parents and infants develop secure, healthy relationships, giving children the best possible start in life and helping families feel understood, supported, and hopeful.
That’s why I’m running this 10K, to raise awareness and funds for parent infant mental health support, so more families can access the help they need when they need it most.
Every donation, no matter how small, will make a real difference 💛
Pennine Care Charity is the charity partner of Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust, who raise funds for additional work and services not covered by the NHS core offer.
Thank you so much for any support!
