Story
In 2022, my best friend Nanny and I went to Germany. One day, she powered through a 12km run in the morning, followed by a 40km cycle. By evening, her feet were feeling a bit numb, which we initially dismissed as overexertion. Little did we know, it marked the onset of her MS at just 25.
Fast forward, Nanny has conquered two marathons, including the London Marathon in 2023, finishing in under 4 hours. She’s an unstoppable force, and I’m endlessly proud to call her my friend. Her resilience has inspired me to keep running and push beyond 5km, and now it’s time for me to tackle a marathon for a cause close to my heart, in the city that we met.
While I may not match her lightning speed, I promise to give it my all. If you know me, you know I love running, even if I’m slow and prone to grumbling. So please join me in supporting this incredible charity and my journey through training and the marathon. Your support means the world!
Love, Molly x
