Hi!

As you may or may not know, I have been a swimmer with Farnham Swimming Club for as long as I can remember. After years of training and competing I thought it right to set myself a challenge, something I have never done before, in the name of a good cause.

I am going to be swimming 10km (400 lengths of an average size 25m pool) on the 9th of November at the London Aquatic Centre to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society.

Despite having no personal connection to this charity, I am aware of the profound effect Alzheimer’s has on devastating so many people’s lives and I know how important it is to raise money for this charity. Alzheimer’s Society are working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. They do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future.
