We are The Lass O'Gowrie in Errol and we are hosting a fundraising Bingo Night event to support our staff member, Molly. She has recently lost a very dear friend and we are offering our venue and team free of charge to help raise money for this amazing charity. Here is Molly's story:

"I am fundraising for the Beatson cancer charity, in memory of Janette. This is a charity close to the heart. Janette was the strongest woman. She always had a smile on her face, no matter what, and despite everything she was going through.

Janette meant so much to me, she supported me through growing up and was like a second mum to me. She was amazing, always knew how to cheer you up or make you feel at ease. If there was any way to help with anything she’d find it. I’m so grateful to have had her in my life and through everything. She was always someone I could turn to and look up to. She was one of a kind and will be missed so much.

I told Janette I was doing a fundraiser and she said "absolutely for the Beatson Cancer Charity, they are just so so good". She was looking forward to coming along but Janette lost her battle to cancer on 27th March 2024. So now more than ever I want to raise as much money as I can for this charity for her."

We are honoured to be supporting our staff in this way and thank you all for any donations to contribute to the care of other patients in the future.
