Hi all

I’m taking to the decks as my alta ego MomaVibez for something that truly matters.

Through my work with young people, I see every day just how important hope, support, and community really are. No young person should have to face something as tough as cancer alone and that’s why I’m proud to be supporting Teenage Cancer Trust.

Every day, seven young people aged 13-24 hear the words you have cancer. They will each need specialised nursing care and support to get them through it. Teenage Cancer Trust are the only charity in the UK dedicated to meeting this vital need so no young person faces cancer alone.

Cancer touches so many of us, whether directly or through someone we love or know. It doesn’t discriminate, and it can turn lives upside down in an instant. But together, we can make a difference.

As an older DJ, I’m passionate about showing that music is for everyone, every age, every stage, every story. As MomaVibez, I'm hoping to bring that energy to the decks, mixing my choons (funky house and afro beats) to create a space where people can connect, feel uplifted, and just be themselves.

I’ll be going live on Mixcloud on Sunday 31st May at 11:00am to raise funds, spread positive energy, and stand alongside the incredible young people and families facing this journey.

Every £25 donation provides an hour to talk. A Youth Support Coordinator provides the extra help young people need with things like studies, relationships and mental wellbeing throughout cancer treatment. £25 could pay for an hour of their time, helping them be there when they're needed most.
