Donations to our charity can be used to develop new therapies, improve our donation services and undertake groundbreaking research so we can continue to innovate in saving lives.

Story

We are raising money to help encourage more people to give blood, to raise awareness of Sickle Cell support people living with sickle cell disorder. 50% of the money raised will benefit ACLT Registered Charity Number 1119516 and 50% will support the work of the NHS Blood and Transplant Charity, Registered Charity Number 1061771.

The African Caribbean Leukaemia Trust (ACLT) is a lifesaving charity dedicated to diversifying stem cell (bone marrow), blood and organ donor registers by recruiting new donors, particularly from African and Caribbean communities, who are critically underrepresented. A matched donor from the same ethnic background can significantly improve treatment outcomes. The ACLT provides hope to patients living with blood cancer and blood related illnesses and is driven by a belief that no one should die waiting for a donor to become available. Just £24 can help register a potential donor, who could go on to save multiple lives. With your support, ACLT can continue raising awareness, supporting patients and their families and giving the gift of life
