On 6th December 2023, our 4 year old son Austin was diagnosed with DIPG, a rare and highly malignant brain tumour. We were told that we would lose our beautiful, bright, funny and loving little boy within a few months.

As part of the journey with Austin we spent time at Helen & Douglas House, a wonderful facility that provides palliative care for children with life shortening conditions, as well as much needed support for parents. The facilities, staff and volunteers are so very special, giving us much needed respite and time to enjoy as a family.

Our time in the house was so important to us and we have therefore decided to raise money to support the ongoing care of others.
