For over 30 years, staff at Nightingale House Hospice have created an environment that gives patients and their loved ones quality time to spend together. Not having to worry about the care a loved one receives, knowing they are in safe hands, means every second spent together is dignified and peaceful. Without support such as yours, our specialist palliative care units wouldn’t be able to deliver such high standards.
Nightingale House Hospice provide services for individuals and their families living within North East Wales and the border areas who are living with a diagnosis of a progressive and/or life-limiting illness, delivered when possible in the location of their choice and always within the resources available to Nightingale House Hospice.
Hospice services includes: 30 patients per week accessing our 12-week wellbeing programme, a 12-bed inpatient unit, 24/7 advice line, spiritual support, outpatient clinic, specialist pharmacist, occupational therapies, family support team, bereavement support, complimentary therapy, creative therapies, physiotherapy, and hydrotherapy.
Nightingale House Hospice receive less than 19% of our funding from the government, meaning we rely on public donations for more than 80% of our income.
