Story
I am proud to serve on the Board of Directors of Mercy Housing California (MHC). Homelessness is not inevitable, and we share the goal of making it rare, brief, and non-recurring. That means more permanent supportive housing, and expanded access to quality, affordable homes.
Mercy Housing is the nation’s largest nonprofit affordable housing developer and from construction to community development, advances innovative solutions to meet the scale and urgency of California’s housing crisis. MHC projects include senior, family and permanent supportive housing, and utilize modular as well as cost-effective traditional approaches to construction.
Mercy Housing California currently houses ~2,900 people in Southern California in 1,666 homes and residences with another 631 currently in development.
Will you help me raise money to support families, seniors, veterans, people who have experienced homelessness, and people with disabilities access stable housing and achieve their goals? The money we raise will go directly towards supporting resident services, which are evidence-based approaches to keep people stably housed, but unfortunately remain insufficiently funded.
Thank you for your commitment!
