Monir's Gaza Appeal

Team: United 4 Palestine
I am fundraising for the Al Noor Foudation's Palestine emergency appeal.
Since the 7th October, thousands of lives have been lost. The latest death toll in Gaza stands at 9,227 (including 3,826 Children, 2,405 women) people and at least 32,516 injured (including 6,360 Children, 4,891 women)
In the Westbank, at least 143 have been killed and at least 2,100 injured. This number is expected to increase rapidly as airstrikes continue. 40% of those that have been killed are children.
Over half the population - more than 1 million people are now displaced in Gaza - the situation is deadly. The entire population has been cut off from water, food and fuel and so many more are expected to lose their lives as the ground offensive continues.
Relentless and ongoing bombardment, starvation, water contamination and the loss of life-sustaining equipment in hospitals across the region is all that faces the people of Gaza now - there is nowhere safe to go.
In the midst of this tragedy, Islamic Relief aid workers are still striving to support their sisters and brothers in Gaza. As of right now, Islamic Relief has been able to provide:
- over 2.2 million medical items
- 86,235 warm meals
- 42,132 food parcels
- 24,864 fresh vegetables
- 18,888 food vouchers
- 28,608 hygiene kits
- Water to 13,948 people
- 37,704 non-essential food items to displaced families, including bedding and mattresses.
- Psychosocial support for 517 children
Islamic Relief have been providing humanitarian relief in the Occupied Palestinian Territory since 1997, serving as a lifeline for communities struggling with the devastating effects of occupation, blockade and recurring conflict. As Palestinian families face fresh suffering in Gaza, Islamic Relief is calling on supporters to help us provide much-needed humanitarian aid.
With your support, Islamic Relief will remain a lifeline for Palestinian families. Please give generously.
