Can You Help Monsieur Le Floof?

An Appeal for Monsieur Le Floof
Say bonjour to Monsieur Le Floof!
This beautiful kitten came into the care of the United Kingdom Cat Centre back in April 2025 along with his siblings. At just four months old, Monsieur Le Floof was displaying worrying symptoms and the team believed he may have had a viral infection such as cat flu. He was immediately taken to the on-site veterinary clinic for examination. It turns out that Monsieur Le Floof had an eye infection caused by the cat flu.
Our incredible on-site veterinary specialists treated the issue straightaway. Unfortunately, Monsieur Le Floof’s eye was so severely damaged by the infection, there was no option but to operate to remove it.
We are pleased to report that, despite the ordeal, Monsieur Le Floof has fully recovered from his treatment and is now looking for his forever home.
Monosieur Le Floof is still playful, friendly and full of personality. Despite his limited vision, he navigates life confidently and doesn’t need special treatment to be a wonderful, loving companion.
As you can imagine, the veterinary treatment for Monsieur Le Floof has cost the United Kingdom Cat Centre a significant amount. We have created this appeal to recover as many of these funds as possible. If we are lucky enough to raise more than our target, we will use the donations to help more cats like Monsieur Le Floof who come into care.
Cats Protection can only continue to help cats like Monsieur Le Floof with generous donations from our wonderful supporters. Every penny raised makes a difference to cats in Sussex.
If you are considering donating today, we would be most grateful if you add Gift Aid to your donation. Gift Aid allows us to claim an extra 25p for every £1 you donate, at no extra cost to you, as long as you’re a UK taxpayer, helping us to be there for even more cats.
On behalf of Monsieur Le Floof, thank you for reading!
