Meet the Moody Mountaineers!

We are an eclectic mix of people at various stages in our recovery journey, joined by supportive loved ones and Gordon Moody staff. We all have an acute awareness of the devastating impact problem gambling behaviour can have on individuals and their families, and we believe that everyone deserves a second chance to reclaim and rebuild their life.

Believe us when we say, gambling harm can affect ANYONE, and 1.6m adults in the UK, are estimated to need gambling support. Unlike some addictions, the impact of problem gambling is harder to spot, often only becoming visible when the financial pressure, shame and secrecy build and the individual reaches a crisis point. We've been there, and each have our own story to tell, but thanks to Gordon Moody, we're here to share our story and support each other on our recovery journey.

We're heading over to Northern Ireland, to take on the Seven Peaks of the Mourne Mountains. The 22km climb with a 1930m elevation will push us all to our limits, but we're taking on this challenge together to show our appreciation for everything that Gordon Moody did for us and to raise vital funds to ensure that others have the same opportunity of support that we did.
