Our Story and Why We’re Supporting Woodside Animal Centre

We’re More4Paws, a small family run dog walking and pet care business based in Leicestershire. It’s just us, Tim and Poppy, our daughter Ruby, and our big soft Labrador Leo. We spend our days surrounded by dogs, mud, treats, wagging tails, and the kind of chaos that only animals can create, and we wouldn’t change a thing.

Every year at Christmas we run a community donation drive for Woodside Animal Centre, because the work they do matters more than most people ever realise. Woodside rescues, rehabilitates, and rehomes hundreds of neglected, abandoned, and mistreated animals every single year. They don’t receive a penny of government funding, and they don’t get financial support from the central RSPCA. Everything they achieve is powered by the generosity of the public and the kindness of local businesses.

When we turn up at Woodside on delivery day, we see animals who arrived scared, broken, unsure if the world is safe. And we also see the incredible team who help them heal. Blankets, toys, treats, food, enrichment, specialist veterinary care, behaviour work, warmth, time, patience, love, all of it costs money. And it all makes the difference between an animal surviving and an animal getting a second chance.

Last year our little More4Paws community came together and filled the van with donations. Seeing how much people cared honestly blew us away. This year we want to do even more.

Every pound donated goes directly to Woodside. It helps keep the kennels warm, the vet bills covered, the animals fed, and the doors open for the next dog or cat that needs help.
