As most of you are aware our beloved dad and grandad passed away on the 6th of July after his battle with dementia. While his illness gradually took pieces of him away, it never dimmed his spirit or the love we shared. In his memory, the Morgado Minions are walking the Memory Walk fundraiser to honour his life and help others affected by dementia.

The goal is to raise awareness and funds for dementia research and support services, ensuring that others receive the care and assistance they need, and that a cure is one day found. Every contribution, no matter how small, brings us closer to that future and honors my dad’s legacy.

Dementia is the UKs biggest killer. Someone develops it every three minutes and currently there is no cure. We know it is scary but we must confront the biggest health & social care challenge of our time. We owe it to the 900,000 people across the UK currently living with dementia to campaign for change, whilst providing vital day-to-day support.
