Everest Basecamp Trek · 18 March 2024

We support the over 60s to afford a rescue pet companion. If money is a genuine barrier, we can pay the rehoming fee for a RESCUE animal and continue to support, each month, with the cost of pet food. 'Helping individuals through loneliness and animals through homelessness'.

Story

I will be completing the 14 day Everest Basecamp Trek this March and decided to use the opportunity to fundraise for a smaller Scottish charity.

I will be trekking 130KM from Lukla to EBC over 2 weeks, going from 2,800m to 5,643m altitude alongside some amazing individuals! (This trip is entirely self funded, every penny donated will go direct to the charity)

A little bit about them…

Give a dog a bone Scotland are a young, unique and award-winning animal charity, supporting the over 60s to afford a rescue pet companion.

They aim to tackle loneliness for the individual and homelessness for the animal, by removing financial barriers to an over 60s person adopting a rescue animal.

They have already helped hundreds of animals to find a brighter future.

Any and all donations are much appreciated✨
