Growing up around horses, riding has always been a huge part of my life, but my love for racing started at a young age thanks to my Uncle who was a jockey. Spending time with him at races and learning firsthand about the dedication and passion involved made me dream of one day taking part myself. This year, I decided it was finally the right time to challenge myself and take part in a charity horse race, combining something I’ve always loved with the opportunity to raise money for a great cause. It feels incredibly special to follow in my uncle’s footsteps while supporting a charity that means a lot to me.

British Horse Society works every day to protect horse welfare, support safer riding routes, and help riders of all ages build confidence and knowledge. Donations make this work possible. They fund welfare officers, safety campaigns, education programmes and vital improvements to bridleways and access.
