I am running for Young Carers in South Tyneside because the service means a lot to me.

Team TENNE South Tyneside Young Carers are back to take on the Great North Run on Sunday 10th September 2023 to raise funds to provide respite and activities for Young Carers in South Tyneside.

The South Tyneside Young Carers Service works with Young Carers aged 5-18 and young adult carers up to 24. The aim is for Young Carers to be resilient, confident, ambitious and independent. To be protected from inappropriate caring responsibilities and to enjoy a positive childhood. Funds raised will help deliver respite groups and activities to give Young Carers and their families a break from their caring roles and spend time just being children and having fun with their friends.
